Take a look at last year's Year 5:

C.A.F.O.D. Workshops

On Monday 26th June, all Year 5 classes took part in a C.A.F.O.D. workshop as part of their Come and See topic of Stewardship.  Moira, Ann and Justine from C.A.F.O.D. presented the Pope's encyclical 'Laudato Si' which discusses the damage being inflicted on the Earth by humans and calls on ‘every person living on this planet’ to make urgent changes to our lifestyles and how we consume energy in order to protect the planet.  They then challenged the class groups to present their ideas on how to: avoid the use of plastic and paper; show care for other living beings; cook only what can reasonably be consumed; recycle; use public transport; reduce water consumption; plant trees and turn off unnecessary lights.
