If your child wishes to start having school meals then please note that they can commence at the beginning of a term or half-term but should continue with school meals to the end of that term.
Our school meals are provided by Sefton Catering Services. The menus have been developed in conjunction with the nutritionists at the Children's Food Trust (CFT) via their menu checking service. The CFT have nutritionally analysed not only the menus, but also the recipes used, cooking methods and the food purchased.

Many families are telling us that they find the school holidays particularly difficult because they rely on the Free Meals they are able to get during term time.
Sefton Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and its fundraising arm Sefton 4 Good are coordinating a network of voluntary sector providers and community venues that will be able to offer children and young people between the ages of 5 to 18 free meals during the Summer Holidays.
There are 11 voluntary, community and faith sector groups from across Sefton who have come forward to support this initiative, and this provision will start from Monday 24th July 2017.
PLEASE NOTE: Sefton MBC are coordinating referral-only provision to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged families via local Children’s Centres (as they have done in previous years), and our initiative aims to act as a ‘wrap around’ service and compliment the work of the local authority as oppose to compete with this provision.
Please read the document below.
These services will be open access and available to all regardless of income.
Sefton 4 Good have launched a dedicated BT MyDonate page which we hope to use to crowdfund to support this initiative. Visit www.sefton4good.org.uk for more information. Individuals can also donate by phone by texting SEFT44 followed by the amount (e.g. £5, £10, £20) to 70070.
